Thrislington Quarry Eastern Extension, West Cornforth, County Durham
Geophysical surveys conducted in advance of a proposed extension to Thrislington Quarry. The survey found evidence of ridge and furrow cultivation, possible ring-ditches which might be an indication of round-houses or barrows and suggests possible prehistoric activity in the area. Further work is recommended.
