A ship with swimmers sails out of the harbour of Vlissingen for the eighteenth international Schelde cup swimming contest. Aboard the swimmers are rubbed in with grease, after which they board rowing boats in Nieuwesluis. The they go into the water and swim towards Vlissingen.
