Steel construction of Jules Chapon
Steel construction by Jules Chapon
Week number 67-09
Parts of a ship are welded together and made into a ship on the yard of the NDSM in Amsterdam. Visual artist Jules Chapon is working on a wall of steel and glass in a hall of the shipyard, which is intended for the new office building of the shipyard. Holes are cut into the metal, which comes from old ships, giving it its own surface structure, and these are filled with specially coloured glass.
