From a yard in Amsterdam the for French account built "Kirkouk" is launched. The French Madame Brunet performs the christening ceremony. SHOTS: Mrs. Brunet arrives at the shipyard and is offered flowers by a girl in Volendam clothes; a priest blesses the ship; Mrs Brunet cuts a rope with an axe, causing the bottle of champagne to fall just short of the bow; the ship slides off the ramp.
