The largest eel ship in the world arrives in Spaarndam

In the harbour of Spaarndam the "Pieter Geertruida" arrives, a ship specially equipped to catch eel. A special feature of this ship is that the eels caught are kept alive on board in special tanks. SHOTS: Ship enters the harbour; the eels are transferred with scoop nets to barrels which are in turn emptied into special floating traps in which the eels are kept alive.
