To solve the housing shortage in the Netherlands, houses are being built on a large scale, increasingly using the assembly-building method (using standardised, prefabricated concrete fittings). These prefab elements are manufactured using pneumatic hand-held rammers with which workers pound the mortar into special shapes. In Maarssen, a factory now has a machine at its disposal that does this work…
