Tank explosion and fire
Weeknummer 69-48
Following an explosion, a storage tank containing 2 million litres of petrol belonging to the storage company Comos Tanks NV in the western port area of Amsterdam caught fire. The fire brigade is fighting the fire with fireboats, water cannons and a powder spray truck and is keeping the other tanks wet. After 29 hours, all the gasoline is burned.
