Haarlem youth in action for a club house
Weeknummer 60-17
City children meet in a youth clubhouse in Haarlem, run by the Het Anker foundation, where they do handicrafts and play. The children held a collection under the motto Give grif one ton in one year from one town, with the goal of a new clubhouse. On the Grote Markt, 1000 pigeons are released, after which comedian Toon Hermans cuts a chain to release the collectors. Finally, balloons are released.
