The archer king of Beesel, who is adorned with silver plaques, is picked up from his home by the civic guard and escorted by a band to the shooting range. First, the mayor shoots the bird on a pole. Then the shooters shoot the bird. Peters wins the match and the previous shooting king hangs the plaques on him.
