Impression of the state of affairs at the bauxite mines in Suriname. SHOTS: - ore is mined on the surface; workers with drills and draglines; dynamite is used to blow the ore to pieces; - in the factory the mined ore is further processed: it is cleaned with water cannons; transported on narrow gauge railroad cars; dried in rotating drying drums.
