New bridge on Curacao
New bridge on Curaçao
Week number 72-31
Oil tankers sailing to the refineries via the St. Anna Bay in Curaçao have to pass the ship bridge. This bridge will have to be removed, which will cause major traffic problems. To overcome this, a bridge was built between Punda and Otrabanda. This bridge collapsed during construction five years ago, after which they had to rebuild. With archival footage of the bridge that collapsed in 1967.
