During the Flood Disaster, the railway link to Oostdijk in the Kruiningerpolder was completely destroyed. The polder's dike holes have not yet been closed and ebb and flow have free play in the polder. Some emergency arrangements have now been made so that the railway can be used again for goods traffic at low tide. A steam train runs, at an adjusted speed, over the track which only just protrudes…
