Thomas Francis Durr
My grand father Patrick and his brother Thomas Durr were from Elphin in Roscommon and they fought in the great War.
Sadly Thomas died in September 1918. He is buried in Wulverghem in Belgium, he was Acting Sergeant at the time of his death. He died with 8 other soldiers of the Royal Irish rifles. I knew nothing of him, until I was researching my family tree.
