Pioneer Paul Hornig from Görlitz
Pioneer Paul Hornig, husband of Hedwig Hornig, née Rapacki-Warnia, a distant great-uncle of mine, served in the Reserve Battalion Pioneer Regiment 29, recruit depot 4, Posen. He was an engineer by trade and dealt with the repair of destroyed bridges during the war.
