FRAM - Jeanne Polley
Documents from Jeanne Polley
My great-grandmother, Jeanne Polley, lived in a house in Outtersteene (North). This house served as a "housing ticket" and housed the Allied soldiers. She kept the correspondence sent to her by the soldiers in transit in Bailleul. Several nationalities are represented: France, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, England. My great-great-uncle, Jean-Baptiste Polley, was an artilleryman during the war.
