The Trewhiddle Hoard
The drawing was used (slightly reorganized), for a plate in Archaeologia (see Bibliography).The drawing shows the hoard of ninth century (c 875) silver, probably treasure from a church, known as the Trewhiddle Hoard. It includes a chalice, scourge and jewellery.
