Document from Joseph Michel Léon Roedlich
This is the story of Joseph, Michel, Léon, father of the contributor. He was born in Moselle and was first incorporated into the artillery in Wissembourg. He was at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Phalsbourg (1917-1918). He fell ill (dyphtheria) but was sent to the front, which spared him Russia.
