A British soldier's family of four photographed in Brighton.
The printed text on the back of this ‘BRITISH MADE’ real photographic postcard includes the details of the photographer that produced it: ‘Stanley Mann Photographer, 27, York Place, Brighton [East Sussex].’ The family that he photographed comprises a wide-eyed baby and his or her toddler sibling, their mother and their soldier–father, who wears a bandolier, a white lanyard and spurs.
